No data ever leaves your device.

3. Permissions Used and Why

Management Permission:
Used only to read installed extension names, permissions, and status. Required for generating local security analysis.

Storage Permission:
Used only to store local preferences such as dark mode settings and scan results. Nothing is transmitted.

Host Permissions:
ExtShield does not read, track, or store content from any website. Host permissions are used only to detect which extensions are active on a given page. No data is collected or transmitted.

4. Third-Party Services

ExtShield does not use:

• Analytics tools
• Third-party APIs
• Trackers
• External servers
• Remote code

All logic is contained within the extension package. No external scripts are loaded.

5. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not:

• Sell any data
• Share data with third parties
• Transfer data outside the user’s device
• Use data for advertising or profiling
• Use data for credit or lending decisions

ExtShield is safe for all ages. No personal data is collected.
